The Water Technology MFV27 Pool Filter is a heavy-duty filtration system designed for larger residential swimming pools and suitable semi-commercial applications.

Manufactured from high-density polyethylene (HDPE) using a seamless, one-piece blow-moulding process, the MFV27 offers strength, corrosion resistance and reliable filtration performance.

With a maximum flow rate of 300 litres per minute, a generous 0.36m² filtration area and an easy-to-operate six-way multiport valve, it delivers effective filtration with straightforward routine maintenance.

Available in three options: Filter Only, With Sand Media, or With Glass Media.

Option 1 — Filter Only

Filter media is not included.

Option 2 — With Sand Media

Includes the complete MFV27 filter plus:

• 2 × 20kg bags coarse-grade pool filter sand
• 7 × 20kg bags fine-grade pool filter sand

Option 3 — With Glass Media

Includes the complete MFV27 filter plus:

• 2 × 20kg bags coarse-grade glass filter media
• 7 × 20kg bags fine-grade glass filter media

Media Note: The manufacturer specifies a 185kg sand capacity. The supplied media packages contain 180kg. Confirm the correct installation quantity and fill level before loading. Glass media may require a different installed weight from sand.

Can I use sand or glass media in this filter?

Yes. The MFV27 is compatible with suitably graded sand or glass filtration media. Both options are available with the filter.

What is the difference between sand and glass media?

Both can provide effective pool filtration when correctly installed. Glass media may offer different filtration and backwashing characteristics depending on the product used.

Does the filter include a multiport valve?

Can I connect it to my existing pool pump?
