0.75kW Jet Pump

Overview
Water delivery for medium-demand systems
This 0.75kW jet pump is an option for medium-sized homes, baches and garden watering, where its flow and pressure match the installation’s requirements.
Its self-priming jet and venturi design makes it useful for drawing clean water from below the pump’s position, such as an underground tank or shallow well.
Suitability depends on your simultaneous water demand, suction lift, pipework, elevation and any filtration equipment - not simply the size of your home.
Self-priming still requires an initial water fill. Follow the supplied priming instructions before starting the pump.
Choose pump only or a control bundle from the dropdown above. Contact us if you need help selecting the right setup.
Performance
- Maximum head: 42 metres
- Maximum pressure generated: approximately 60 PSI / 4.1 bar
- Maximum flow: 70 litres per minute
- Maximum suction lift: 8 metres, subject to installation conditions
Maximum head and maximum flow are separate limits. Refer to the pump curve for the pressure available at your required flow.
Suction lift is measured from the water surface to the pump. Pipe length, diameter, fittings and restrictions affect how effectively the pump can draw water. Contact us before ordering if your installation approaches the maximum lift.

Control Options
Pump only
For installations using an existing compatible control system, or where controls will be supplied separately. Contact us for help checking compatibility.
Pump with automatic pressure controller
Automatically starts the pump when water is used and stops it when demand ends. Suits straightforward installations where the controller’s operating settings match the system requirements.
We recommend suitable surge protection to help protect the controller’s electronics.
Pump with mechanical pressure switch and 8L pressure tank
Provides adjustable start and stop pressures, with a small water reserve to help reduce frequent pump starts during small water draws.
Pump with mechanical pressure switch and 24L pressure tank
Provides adjustable start and stop pressures, with a small water reserve to help reduce frequent pump starts during small water draws.
This setup can suit more demanding installations or specific pressure requirements where an automatic controller’s operating settings may be less suitable.
Some assembly is required with control bundles. The tank’s usable water reserve is less than its stated capacity and depends on the pressure settings. Leaks and dripping taps should still be repaired.
FAQs
Will this pump suit my home or bach?
It may suit a smaller-demand system, but the required flow and pressure matter more than the property’s size. Send us your water source, simultaneous outlet demand, pipework and elevation details so we can help check.
What does self-priming mean?
Once initially filled with water, a self-priming pump can clear air from its suction pipework under suitable installation conditions. It does not mean the pump can start empty or run dry.
How do I prime it?
With the power isolated, follow the supplied instructions to fill the pump through its priming point and vent the system. Refit the plug before starting. If it does not deliver water, stop and investigate rather than leaving it running.
Can it draw water from an underground tank or shallow well?
Yes, within its suction capability and suitable installation conditions. Measure the lift from the lowest expected water level, rather than the top of the tank or well.
Do I need a non-return valve?
A suitable non-return valve or foot valve helps retain water in the suction system and maintain prime. Its position and specification should follow the pump’s installation instructions. Suction connections must also be airtight.
Can it draw from a river, pond or dam?
Only where the water reaching the pump is suitable clean water. Debris, sediment and changing water levels need to be managed. Contact us about inlet protection and pump suitability before choosing it for an open water source.
Should I choose a controller or pressure tank?
An automatic controller offers convenient on/off operation. A mechanical pressure switch and tank provide adjustable start and stop pressures and a water reserve that helps reduce starts. Read our Pressure Tanks vs Controllers guide or ask us about your installation.
Does it have dry-run protection?
The pump’s motor overload protection is not the same as dry-run protection. Protection against loss of water depends on the selected control equipment—contact us to confirm what your chosen setup includes.
Why does the pump lose prime?
Possible causes include air entering suction connections, a leaking non-return valve, low source-water levels or excessive suction restrictions. Repeated loss of prime needs investigation.
Can I use my existing controls?
Possibly, provided they are compatible and correctly set up. Send us the model details and photos so we can help check.
Are spare parts available?
Contact us with the model/SKU, photos and details of the part required. We can confirm compatibility and availability.
